DyerJocelyn L. Dyer

Jocelyn L. Dyer, an Associate at Donnelly, Conroy, and Gelhaar LLP, joined the firm in 2007.

Ms. Dyer holds a B.S. in Psychology from Cornell University. She holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she served as a Senior Editor on the Law Review and taught Legal Writing to first year law students. During law school, Ms. Dyer interned at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in the Organized Crimes Division.

Most recently, Ms. Dyer served as a law clerk for the Honorable F. Dennis Saylor IV, US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Prior to her clerkship, Ms. Dyer worked as an associate at the law firm of Foley Hoag LLP.

Ms. Dyer’s practice areas include general business litigation and white collar criminal defense. She handles cases in state and federal courts involving business torts, complex contractual relationships, and intellectual property rights. Her recent work includes:

  • Successful representation of four major publishing companies in federal action against non-U.S. defendants who improperly acquired and distributed academic journals;
  • Representation of engineering firm in intellectual property and contractual disputes;
  • Representation of individual witnesses in health care investigation conducted by the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.

Ms. Dyer also has significant pro bono experience, including successful representation of asylum seekers in Immigration Court and domestic violence victims seeking to obtain and enforce restraining orders. Ms. Dyer is a volunteer attorney with the Women’s Bar Foundation’s Family Law Project and a member of the Domestic and Sexual Violence Committee.

Ms. Dyer is a member of the Women's and Boston Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
