Kristin M. Cataldo
Ms. Cataldo graduated from Assumption College with a B.A. in Business Management in 1992. She received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, summa cum laude, in 2002. While attending Suffolk University Law School, Ms. Cataldo placed second in the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Competition, a national appellate moot court competition focusing on Internet trademark issues. Ms. Cataldo was also awarded Jurisprudence Awards in the areas of Tax and Commercial Paper, and received the honor of Distinguished Best Oral Advocate and Distinguished Best Brief writer in her law school section.
In 2006, Ms. Cataldo was named in Boston Magazine as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer Rising Star in the category of Business Litigation. She is a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Fraternity, the Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Ms. Cataldo is a volunteer for the admissions committee of Suffolk University Law School and has been a guest lecturer at Southern New England School of Law. Ms Cataldo is also a member of the Young Women's League of Reading, a charitable organization that raises funds to benefit individual charities, scholarships, and social needs in the local community.

Obtained injunctive relief against former independent contractor of employer, requiring the return and prohibiting the use the company's confidential information. |

Represented a bankruptcy trustee in adversary proceeding against the former officers and directors of the company in a case involving claims of fraudulent conveyance, preferential transfers and breach of fiduciary duties. Successfully opposed a motion to dismiss the breach of fiduciary duty claims based upon an exculpatory provision in company's articles of incorporation. |

Represented a biotechnology developer in a case alleging fraud and violation of M.G.L. ch. 93A based upon sham partnership negotiations. Successfully opposed a motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction. |
